- This amendment 01 to Combined Synopsis/Solicitation F1TEAV6046B001 is issued to change the contract type from Definite Quantity Indefinite Delivery to Requirements, replace an electrical connector identified in applicable documents and electrical connections, delete reference to the C-141 from airlift certification provisions, and revise other applicable contract provisions and terms as indicated below. DELETE the following sentence: The Government contemplates award of one Definite Quantity Indefinite Delivery type, Firm-Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. ADD the following sentences: The Government contemplates award of one Requirements type contract resulting from this solicitation. The supplies to be purchased are All-Purpose Remote Transport System (ARTS) trailers required and funded by ACSSS through September 2007. The Quantity of seventy four (74) trailers is a best estimated quantity not purchased until a funded delivery order is issued. REPLACE any references to a Quantity of seventy-four (74) trailers with a Best Estimated Quantity of seventy-four (74) trailers. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS: DELETE TACOM drawing 10891263-1 ? Cable Assembly, Spec and ADD MS75020-1 ? Connector, Plug, Electrical ? 12 Contact, Intervehicular, 24 Volt, Waterproof. AIRLIFT CERTIFICATION PROVISIONS: DELETE all references to C-141. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS: DELETE: 24V trailer plug shall be 12-pin NSN 6150-01-167-6522 (TACOM drawing 10891263-1) and ADD: 24V trailer plug shall be 12-pin MS75020-1. CONTRACT PROVISIONS AND TERMS: ADD the following as addenda to the provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items (Jan 2006). Quotes must include: (9) Information concerning the metal alloy content of proposed trailer materials (see 252.225-7014 ? Preference for Domestic Specialty Metals (JUN 2005)) and location where alloys to be furnished will be melted. NOTE: 20 page limitation on proposal package excludes commercial manuals and commercial literature. DELETE the following sentence: All clauses cited at 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition and will be checked in the award document.
