Description

Services Non-Personal: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, materials, parts, quality control, transportation and incidentals necessary to travel to Tinker AFB, OK to provide remedial maintenance on Process Tanks and Tank Components, to replace tank liners and repair/replace vent hoods as requested and IAW the Statement of Work. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The estimated performance period includes one Basic Year and four Option periods as follows: Basic Year; 01 May 2006 thru 30 Apr 2007, Option I; 01 May 2007 thru 30 Apr 2008, Option II; 01 May 2008 thru 30 Apr 2009, Option III; 01 May 2009 thru 30 Apr 2010, Option IV; 01 May 2010 thru 30 Apr 2011. The approximate issue date for this solicitation is 24 Mar 2006. Contractors can register electronically at https://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors can register electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. This is a 100% Small Business set aside. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendation to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
