DESC: 1240-01-513-9959, Part Number MIL-PRF-32062, The item to procure is a CASE, CARRYING FOR THE M198 FIRE CONTROL OPTICS. DESIGN, MATERIALS, AND MANUFACTURING PROCESS IS THE PREROGATIVE OF THE CONTRACTOR AS LONG AS ALL ARTICLES SUBMITTED TO THE GO VERNMENT MEET THE FUNCTIONAL AND OPERATING REQUIREMENTS SPECIFIED IN MIL-PRF-32062. MINIMUM DIMENSIONS OF CASE 20 INCHES WIDE X 8.5 INCHES X 20 INCHES LONG, MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS OF CASE IS 25 INCHES X 11 INCHES X 25 INCHES. CUSHION INSERTS ARE MANUFACTURED F ROM A-A-59136 AND ARE SOURCE CONTROLLED TO QUALITY FOAM PACKAGING, CAGE 1P494. Requirements are for 5 year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) contract with a guaranteed minimum contract quantity of 245 each and maximum contract quantity of 4,2 00 each Case, Optical. FOB is Destination. For use on the M198 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 07 April 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
