Description

The House is interested in acquiring the services of a contractor to construct and install interior retail store fixtures for the House Gift Shop located in B217 Longworth House Office Building. The fixtures shall be completely finished and installed and include casework, accessories, and lighting, as identified in the detailed design specifications. The proposed pricing must include all materials and labor required to complete and install the specified fixtures in accordance with the RFP documents. The contractor must provide storage from delivery to final installation. The installation of the fixtures must take place during the last week of August 2006 and the project must be completed no later than August 31, 2006. This RFP and all related documents and amendments, if any, are available electronically through the following website http://www.house.gov/cao-opp/currentsol.htm. Questions will be received until 4:00 PM Eastern Time on March 28, 2006. Written responses to all questions will be provided to all potential contractors of record in the form of an Amendment to the solicitation. The deadline for receipt of proposals is April 14, 2006. No verbal telephone requests for the solicitation package will be honored.
