- Purpose of this modification: Patrick AFB, Florida is not participating in the Wing level logistics support requirement, but will remain included in the HQ AFSPC requirement of a centralized back shop. A suspense date has now been set for this sources sought notice. As such, this notice has been modified. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. No solicitation is being issued at this time. For reference purposes, the solicitation, when issued, will be numbered FA2517-06-R-6003. The amount of information available for publication at this time is limited. The solicitation, when issued, will be a Request for Proposal (RFP). A Performance Price Trade-Off will likely be the method of contractor evaluation/selection. The 21st Contracting Squadron at Peterson Air Force Base (PAFB), Colorado, seeks potential sources to perform a variety of non-personal logistics support services for the 21st Space Wing Logistics Readiness Squadron (21LRS) at Peterson AFB, Colorado, 50th Logistics Readiness Flight (50LRF) at Schriever AFB, 460th Logistics Readiness Squadron (460LRS) at Buckley AFB, Colorado, 341st Logistics Readiness Squadron (341LRS) at Malmstrom AFB, Montana, 90th Logistics Readiness Squadron (90LRS) at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming, the 30th Logistics Readiness Squadron (30LRS) at Vandenberg AFB. Services to be provided at Peterson/Schriever AFBs: Base Supply Support Direct Mission Support using the Air Force Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), Mobility Bags management (MOBAGS) as well as Individual Body Armor (IBAs), HAZMAT and HAZMART functions, fuels management and fuels support, vehicle operation and maintenance, base transportation, and surface freight operations. Services to be provided at Buckley AFB: Base Supply Support Direct Mission Support using the Air Force Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), Mobility Bags management (MOBAGS) as well as Individual Body Armor (IBAs), HAZMAT and HAZMART functions. Buckley?s scope also requires supply personnel to be accountable custodians for mobility weapons to include ordering, storing, receiving, handling, issuing, and maintaining weapon?s vault. Services to be provided at Malmstrom AFB: Base Supply Support Direct Mission Support using the Air Force Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), Mobility Bags management (MOBAGS) as well as Individual Body Armor (IBAs), HAZMAT and HAZMART functions, and fuels management. Malmstrom's scope also includes missile maintenance materiel control. Services to be provided at F.E. Warren AFB: Base Supply Support Direct Mission Support using the Air Force Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), Mobility Bags management (MOBAGS) as well as Individual Body Armor (IBAs), HAZMAT and HAZMART functions, and fuels management. F.E. Warren's scope also includes missile maintenance materiel control, CE materiel control, and CE self help store. Services to be provided at Vandenberg AFB: Base Supply Support Direct Mission Support using the Air Force Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), Mobility Bags management (MOBAGS) as well as Individual Body Armor (IBAs), HAZMAT and HAZMART functions, fuels management, vehicle operation and maintenance. Vandenberg's scope also includes 576th Flight Test materiel control supply. In support of Headquarters, Air Force Space Command, Logistics Readiness Division (HQ AFSPC/A4R), operate a HQ AFSPC Logistics Support Center at Peterson AFB, encompassing Stock Control, Equipment Management, MICAP, Records Maintenance, and Computer Operations is support of Peterson AFB, Schriever AFB, Buckley AFB, Malmstrom AFB, F.E. Warren AFB, Patrick AFB, Vandenberg AFB, and Los Angeles AFB. It is anticipated that the contract performance period will total seven to ten years, with a base period of two to three years, with one or two year option periods, exercised at the unilateral right of the Government. The Government is contemplating award of a Firm Fixed Price requirements contract. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code we anticipate using is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The requirement will most likely be a small business set-aside. Additional information, as it becomes available, will be posted as amendments to this announcement. All amendments will be available for viewing on FedBizOps (FBO) at http://www1.fbo.gov. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates and amendments to any and all documents. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. This Sources Sought Notice is also issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. All businesses capable of providing these services are invited to respond. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis. If interested in this proposed acquisition the government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size, business status (i.e., small business, disabled veteran, disadvantaged, HUB zone, woman-owned), anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Include contract magnitude and points of contact for each example provided (name of the point of contact (POC), address, e-mail, telephone number, fax number, and the company's web page, if applicable). Please limit your response to not more than 10 single-sided pages. Submission shall include one electronic (virus scanned) copy sent via e-mail to the POCs listed under Original Point of Contact. It is anticipated a Market Research Questionnaire will be posted to FedBizOps (FBO) with a future amendment to this announcement when more information becomes available.
