Description

The sources sought notice is amended to post the following questions and resulting answers: 1) Is any additional information available on the generator to be used as the source for this inverter? This inverter will be part of a reconstruction project. New subsystems are being researched in all areas of the generator. 2) Is there only one three phase winding available at the input of the PE or are there multiple isolated windings as is the case in the 3KW TQG? The alternator used in the current 3kW does have three isolated windings, we are researching different types of alternators however it is most likely that three isolated windings will be the source input. 3)Is any low voltage control power available? There is a 24VDC battery on-board the system used for motor starting. 4)Are any fault reporting outputs desired? Fault reporting would be desirable at the immediate maintenance level (fault can be fixed/cleared on the spot), but not required. 5)Is it desirable to have the PE output to be able to be configured as a single 120V 2 wire output at 3KW? Yes, we are looking for a single phase 120V, 60Hz 3kW output from the PE. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (13-MAR-2006).
