- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under requisition number 82378. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. The U.S. Secret Service intends to purchase Brand Name equipment from the manufacturer RGB Spectrum as follows: (1) Superview 3000 with six (6) input channels including control software. (2) 3U rackmount kit for Superview 3000 (Mfr #: 920 7286). (3) Front control panel for Superview 3000 (Mfr #: FPC 3000). In addition, the Superview 3000 in line item (1) shall at least meet the following requirements: 1. Shall have up to 6 input channels simultaneously displayed. Each channel shall offer the choice of RGB, component S-Video, or composite video. 2. Shall support the ability for 1 large input display, while other inputs are actively processed and displayed in smaller screen sizes. 3. Shall have access to all functions via the software and the remote control panel. 4. Shall be scalable so that additional channels can be added. 5. Shall have the ability to have preset display settings. 6. Shall be capable of supporting picture-in-picture and side-by-side displays, as well as overlapping windows. 7. Shall support resizing, position, scaling, freeze frame, pan and zoom, brightness, and contrast of the video input. 8. Shall support RGB resolution up to 1600 X 1200 pixels. 9. Shall support a Horizontal scan rate up to 90 kHz interlaced or non-interlaced. 10. Shall support an Aspect Ratio of both 4 X 3 and 16 X 9. FOB: Point Destination to Landover, MD. The specific delivery address shall be provided to the contractor at time of award. Required Delivery: Earliest delivery available. Manufactured by: RGB Spectrum. The submitted offer shall also state that the items quoted meet all of the minimum requirements listed above in this solicitation.
