Description

The Defense Contracting Management Agency (DCMA) Procurement Office intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order to the manufacture JACADA, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302.-1 ? ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTATION. The JACADA Software Licenses Maintenance service is proprietary to and solely distributed by JACADA, Inc., in the United States without any resellers. This acquisition is for annual software licenses maintenance and kits of JACADA, Inc. The IT Program Office has currently Jacada software development as the standard e-tool running the web application suite and. JACADA is the only identified source able to provide the integrated system with the capability of the software. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) YYITB6PR6A295 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit electronic offer document type: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Solicitation Number: YYITB6PR6A295 All US firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). (iii) This combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The NAIC code is 511210 Performance period; One year (vii) FOB: Destination for delivery to: DCMA-Information Technology, 6350 Walker Lane, Suite 300, Alexandria, VA 22310. Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and Quality Control (QC). (viii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The Government intends to award this requirement on brand name basis to resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation JACADA, Inc. However, if a company has reason to believe that it can meet or exceed all the needs of DCMA for this , it may submit documentation to support its claim. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items with quote. (xi) The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause at FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
