Description

This is a sole source notice for commodities to acquire instructional book/DVD sets for the "World in Transition" curriculum series by the Southern Center for International Studies (SCIS). 60 sets of each of the following subject areas will be required: Africa in Transition, East Asia in Transition, Europe in Transition, Latin America in Transition, the Middle East in Transition, Russia and the Former Soviet Republics in Transition and South Asia in Transition. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This requirement is being purchased through the Southern Center for International Studies (SCIS), Cage Code 1SKR3. This solicitation incorporates the clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular and will be awarded as a fixed price contract. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration database (www.ccr.gov) prior to award of any Government contract in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004. Additional specifics will be provided by request. All interested, responsible firms must respond to this notice by 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on March 24, 2006, to ATTN: Elizabeth Walker (334) 953-8083 or elizabeth.walker@maxwell.af.mil. If no responses are received by the above date and time, a sole source contract with the Southern Center for International Studies will be pursued.
