Desired is a range greater than 11.7 km for unassisted projectiles, and 19 km for assisted projectiles, with a lethality greater than the M913 105mm HE projectile and/or precision greater than Range Probable error of 0.3% at 75% of maximum range without course correction fuze, from US 105mm howitzers. A precision 105mm projectile is also desired with a CEP =< 10m at all ranges. All respondents must be able to demonstrate past performance as well as the capability to provide system engineering, integration, and full- scale production. Use of specialty metals, either as end products or components, shall be disclosed in accordance with DFARS 225.7002-1.
