Description

Stock Number 341600X064037, CNC Lathe with Hybrid Tooling and 2 inch bar feed. The equipment to be supplied is to be small, high speed, lathe with live tooling. The system shall be capable of supporting 2 inch bar feed capacity. The system shall not include the bar feed equipment at this time. The machine must operate in accordance with Rock Island Arsenal Purchase Description(RIPD) J4000-05-9-150, dated August 15, 2005. Quantity is 1 with the option to buy up to 4 additional units. Approximate solicitation issue date will be March 24, 2006, with closing date 30 days from issue. Once issued, copies of the solicitation and Purchase Description will be available for download from the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army .mil. It will be the responsibility of contractors to check this website for issueing and changes to the solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be distributed. The proposed contract is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classific ation Code is 333512, 500 employees. See Note 12.
