Description

This announcement is notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The items to be purchased as a sole source are materials and labor for camera/video system to be linked with the City of Corsicanas video surveillance system. Contracting with another firm to perform the system install services will void the current wa rranty with the City of Corsicana. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 423410, business size standard is 100 employees (500 Government Employees). The sole source contractor is WHECO Electric, 8501 Jacksboro Highway Lakeside, TX 76135. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to WHECO Electric for the following supplies: Labor (installation and integration) and materials for camer a, tower w/base, radios and video system which will directly tie into an existing system owned by the City of Corsicana: Outdoor dual sensor motion/radar sensors w/animal immunity: Labor and materials to incorporate motion sensor and associated electrica l, wireless link, etc. Any contractors who believe that they have the capability to meet the listed qualifications may submit, for consideration by the government, a statement of capability including technical competencies and any other information proving the firm technically capable of performing the required efforts (without voiding the said warranty). Comments are due by 28 March 2006 at Noon, however the posting will remain for a period of not less than ten days. If no comments are received by the closing date, a purchas e order will be issued to the above named sole source. Address any questions to Sheila R.
