Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source to GE Healthcare, 60 Grand Banks Circle, Marlton, NJ for the purchase of annual maintenance servi ce on a GE Lightspeed 16-System, Tube Coverage, and three (3) Advantage Workstations. Failure to purchase these items would hamper the use of the machines performance in the activity's day-to-day functions. This is not a formal solicitation. This synops is is niot considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this not ice must show clear and convincing evidenc that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete thi s proposed contract price based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
