Description
This is a Source Selection Best Value Solicitation to provide for a Design/Build/Design Bid/Build Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for Mechanical Projects for Various Facilities in the North Carolina Area. A maximum of four (4) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, (IDIQ) Design/Build/Design/Bid Build Multiple Award Construction Contracts will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Each contract is for a base year and two (2) one-year option periods. The maximum annual value of each contract is $8,000,000; however, the estimated construction cost for each project will be between $100,000 and $1,000,000. Future task orders will be competed among the awarded contracts. The government guarantees an award amount of $5,000 to each successful offerors over the full term of the contract. There will be one (1) Design/Bid/Build seed project in this solicitation. SEED PROJECT - The RFP will include an initial seed project, Replace FRP Condensate Return Lines, Camp Geiger & Hospital Point, MCB Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The work includes replacing all condensate piping including all lateral piping, sleeves, guide saddle, rollers, valves, trap assemblies, lateral valves at building entrances, repairing pavement ground and roadways and providing survey quality GPS as-builts and incidental related work. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, engineering, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and transportation to perform all of the services described in the plans and specifications. The cost range is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. The approximate Solicitation Release Date is 30 March 2006. This solicitation is available in electronic format only.
