- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number (RFQ E002300) incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-08. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside and the associated NAICS code is 334613 and the small business size standard is 1,000, employees. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The estimated amount for this procurement is approximately $36,000. The Federal Bureau of Investigation plans to award a purchase order, on a sole-source basis, to GTM Video Inc,15210 Keswick Street, Van Nuys, California 91405 for the purchase of 90 Single Arm JFJ Disc Repair, Model 2005. The System repairs CDs, DVDs and double sided DVDs. It is a dry system machine and has the ability to repair media that contains deep scratches and marring. The system allows for incremental increases in the cleaning process, allowing the user to increase the aggressiveness of the repair process. Typical settings should allow for mild to aggressive repair procedures, with settings in between, either through the use of timers and/or different repair material. The system should not have more than a 16x16 footprint. Delivery will be multiple destinations. All responsible sources may submit a quotation for this announcement clearly identifying how they can fulfill this requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a quotation to include product/functional specifications/ descriptions. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all data received within ten days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
