- PLEASE NOTE: ARCHIVING DATE OF APRIL 14, 2006 DOES NOT REFLECT THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE. THE ACTUAL PROPOSAL DUE DATE WILL BE IN THE SOLICITATION PACKET WHEN IT IS DISTRIBUTED. Modernization project of a FAA owned Airport Traffic Control Tower (ACTC) facility built in 1991. Work to include: Interior and Exterior work with an emphasis in mechanical (HVAC and Controls), Fire Life Safety and Electrical Work. Several components of the HVAC System (air handlers, chiller, controls, etc.) need replacement. Fire Life Safety systems (alarm system, fire suppression system, etc.) need replacement or upgrade. Engine Generator replacement as part of this contract. Installations and the subsequent testing of the systems require licensed and/or certified installers. Interior work includes, but is not limited to tile replacement, bathroom reconfiguration, break room kitchen refurbishment, ceiling tile replacement. Exterior work includes, but is not limited to replacing sidewalks and curbs, shrubbery replacement, sealing and waterproofing facades, sealing and marking the parking lot. During the entire modernization project the facility must remain operational. Air Traffic Control Function takes precedence over any construction activity. Monroe, Louisiana ATCT facility operational hours are 5:00 am to 10:00 pm. All work in TRACON and Tower Cab is to take place during non-operational hours. Security at facility is very high. The Contractor, its employees, and sub contractors are to have appropriate credentials to work inside this facility. MANDATORY SITE VISIT REQUIRED.
