- THIS IS SOLICITATION IS A SET-ASIDE FOR HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. OFFERS FROM OTHER THAN HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS WILL BE REJECTED. TENTATIVE ADVERTISEMENT DATE IS APRIL 4, 2006. This project consists of drainage, grading, aggregate base, and asphalt concrete surfacing on 3.03 miles of roadway in Upper Souris National Wildlife Refuge, project name ND RRP UPSO 11(1), Prairie Marsh Scenic Drive, Ward County, North Dakota. MAJOR WORK ITEMS INCLUDE: lump sum contractor testing; 14,300 linear feet of silt fence; 4,920 linear feet sediment logs; 1,400 m gallons watering for dust control; 31.5 acres of clearing and grubbing; 41,000 cubic yards of roadway excavation; 3,450 cubic yards of subexcavation; 14,300 cubic yards of unclassified borrow; 370 cubic yards of placed riprap, various class; 14,400 tons aggregate base; 4,800 tons hot asphalt concrete pavement; 1,465 linear feet of pipe culvert, various size; 14,100 cubic yards placing conserved topsoil; 20 acres hydraulic method mulching; along with associated survey and staking, traffic control, and seeding.
