- (i) This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation will be issued on the World Wide Web and can be found at the following web site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov (ii) Solicitation F2QT026030A200 is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR Part 13.5. (iii) The solicitation document and FAR incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-06 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20051220. Special Provisions; and the Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Offerors or Quoters are included with this solicitation as an attachment. (iv) This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 334511 and the small business size standard is 750 employees (v) The 1st Contracting Squadron has a requirement for ancillary equipment for installation of MIDS terminals in AFPTU, 82nd CCSS/SCWI, 37 Elm St. Loading Dock A, Langley AFB, VA 23665. (vi) The following contract line items are applicable to this solicitation: CLIN 0001 MIDS Power Unit P/N: 1036848; Qty. 3 Each CLIN 0002 LVT (1) Cooling Tray P/N: 1027226; Qty. 5 Each CLIN 0003 LVT (1) Control Plug J7 P/N: 1035372; Qty. 5 Each CLIN 0004 Host Interface Cable P/N: 1027660; Qty. 5 Each CLIN 0005 LVT (1) RPF to MT Cable Set P/N: 1027027; Qty. 5 Each CLIN LVT (1) Fill Cable, W4 P/N: 1027656; Qty: 5 Each. (vii) Shipping and Delivery: Shipping costs shall be included in line items and date of delivery shall be by NLT 60 days ARO. Commercial Items (JAN 1999), (a) The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. (x) Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the Representations, Certifications with his/her offer. (xi) Wherever the word Government is used ?NAFI? is substituted in lieu thereof.
