- Description
- This is a synopsis for a Cost Per Test for Chlamydia and Gonnorhea testing using state of the art DNA detection analyzer. Cost Per Test ? Provide at No Charge machine for Chlamydia and Gonnorhea testing. Provide consumables on a Cost Per Test basis. Includes instrumentation, preventative maintenance and analyzer service with the purchase of reagents and expendables to perform diagnostic testing in the laboratory. Basis for reagent and expendables purchase will be based on 25,000 tests per year. This agreement will place a state of the art DNA detection analyzer processing incubator and centrifuge in the laboratory. System will utilize Strand Displacement Amplification (SDA) for direct qualification detection of Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae in endocervical swabs, male urethral swabs and urine specimens in symptomatic or asymptomatic patients. Reagents need to be stored at room temperature and samples should be able to be completely processed and analyzed in one room using only 10 to 13 feet of bench space. Analyzer should be able to run Gonnorhea and Chlamydia simultaneously out of one specimen collection vial without additional or separate preparation steps which optimize workflow to produce timely patient results. The contract will be written for a Base year and Four option years. Period of performance for the Base year will run from 1 May 06 - 30 Sep 06. The Four option years will run as follows 1 Oct 06 ? 30 Sep 10. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The applicable NACIS code is 334510. Basis for award is Price and Past Performance. Past performance is approximately equal when compared to price. Offeror must provide the names, telephone number and address of POCs for no more than 3 of its most relevant contracts to provide evidence of reliability. Synopsis issue date is approximately 17 Mar 06 and will be available on http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Solicitation issue date is approximately 24 Mar 06 and will be available on http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Proposals are due NLT 12:00am on 3 Apr 06. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation and no split awards will be made. The solicitation will be posted on http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. All prospective offers must be registered in Central Contractor Registry prior to award with any DoD agency. Registration may be accomplished at website, http://www.ccr.gov .
