- Description
- Amendment 0003 supersedes the Request for Proposal FA8533-05-R-76816, dated 9 Aug 05 and Amendments 0001 & 0002, dated 30 Aug 05 and 2 Sep 05, respectively. All offerors will use Amendment 0003 and its attachments exclusively when presenting an offer. Amendment 0003 removes the Small Business Set-Aside. IAW FAR 6.1, this proposal is a full and open competition. All offerors are required to submit with its proposal a signed face page from the original RFP dated 9 Aug 05 and the signed face page of Amendment 0003. This requirement is for a 5-year, requirements-type contract for the Tactical Automated Service Station in accordance with the Purchase Description PD04WRLEEV23, dated 26 Feb 2006. This requirement will consist of one basic ordering period of 12 months and 4 annual ordering periods with best estimated quantities. There is no minimum or maximum order amount established . FAR 15 procedures will be employed with a First Article required, First Article Test Procedures IAW DD Form 1423 in addition to data requirements such as technical manuals, Provisioning IAW DD Form 1423-1 and Conference Agenda Design Review (PDR/CDR) IAW DD Form 1423-1. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation. 26. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
