- Buckley Air Force Base, CO has a requirement for Personal Property Shipment. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) as Government-furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services. Work to be performed will be those services in the Schedules awarded to the contractor as outlined in individual RFP Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN). The RFP requirements will apply to direct procurement method shipments only. Tasks by type of move will be reflected in the RFP chart showing which tasks normally apply to each type of move. When specific instruction or requirements are not provided, commercial standards of services and best business practices are acceptable. The proposed requirement will be 100% set aside for small business concerns. This acquisition will be accomplished utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 15. The resultant contract will be a Firm-Fixed price type contract. Basis of award will be the evaluation factors as stated in FAR 52.212-2. The upcoming RFP will be available on the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award. (See Internet site: http://www.ccr.gov/) Contractors must submit their representation and certification at the Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA). (See Internet site: http://orca.bpn.gov) The RFP will be available on or about 31 March 2006. The RFP will close on or about 30 April 2006. When the solicitation is posted, it is imperative interested parties review this site frequently for any updates/amendments. By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting form this solicitation. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard is 488991, 12.5 million dollars. No paper copies will be issued.
