Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals for the following requirement (No Substitutes): 1 each, Unholtz-Dickie Corporation, Model SAI.90-R16C-3 Vibra tion Test System, to include: System Output: Sine Force: 13,000 lbs pk, Random Force: 13,500lbs rms; Shock Force: 26,000 lbs pk; Shock Velocity: 189 inch/sec pk; ? Shock Pulse Ratings: 6 msec 30g with 750 lb load, 6 msec 75g with 225 lb load, 6 msec 1 40g with 40 lb load, 11 msec 30g with 750 lb load, 11 msec 100g with 125 lb load, 11 msec 140g with 10 lb load, 20 msec 30g with 750 lb load, 20 msec 40g with 400 lb load, 20 msec 50g with 10 lb load; Model R16C Shaker: 16 inch dia armature (110 lbs), Str oke: 3 inch pk-pk, Low Profile Base; Remote Cooling Blower with 20 ft air duct; Model SAI.90 Class D Power Amplifier: 90 KVA Output; DC Field Supply; Interconnecting cables 20 ft standard; Tech Manuals: 2 sets; System Checkout: One day checkout service; Option: Add TK-16 Thermal Insulation Kit to R16C Shaker for temp chamber interface; Option: Add V-groove casters and guide tracks to R16C Shaker to provide shaker movement in/out of chamber if needed; Shaker is to replace existing V860 Thermotron/Lin Sh aker on Thermotron AGREE Environmental Chamber Model 7-82-CHV-25-25-CO2 and operate with this chamber. FOB Destination (Fort Huachuca, Arizona 85613). Payment will be made by Government Credit Card under Net 30 Terms. Offers are due no later than 1200 h ours, Wednesday, 22 March 2006 and shall be submitted electronically at virginia.miller@epg.army.mil. EVALUATION CRITERIA/PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated based on the following best value criteria in descending order of importance: Meeting the Requ irement, Proposed Delivery Schedule, Past Performance and Price.
