The current estimated requirement is for 77, with the estimate for any options at from 5 to 20 items per option. Dimensions in inches: Width is 10.7 x Length is 10.86. This Item is used on the 7.62 mm cupola of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle. The item has hinges and other hardware and rubber components/parts. Multiple holes: hole quantity along l ength is 3, with a distace of 2.625 inches nominal; distance from first hole centerline to end along length is 1.539 inches nominal; distance from first hole centerline to end along width is 1.435 inches nominal; distance between holes along length is 2.62 5 inches nominal. Corner bevel length is 0.500 inches nominal. Securing Devise Type: Threaded Fastener. Material Document and Classification: MIL-46027 Mil Spec 1st Material Response and ZZ-R-765, CL 38, GR30, Color Grey Fed Spec 2nd Material Response. Special markings and commercial packaging are also required. The anticipated contract to result will be a fixed-price for a set quantity, with 2 optional quantities anticipated. An additional requirement for the Right Side Access Door will be added to t his Synopsis Notification by a later modification. Thus, the resultant contract will be for two separate access door items, the left and the right, each with 2 optional quantities. Delivery terms are FOB-Destination. The estimated issue date is 31 March 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102. Therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
