- THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. This work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment for raising two existing dikes at Ben Lomand. The work involves approximately 6,650 linear feet in the Mississippi River. Principal feat ures of the work include mobilization and demobilization, stone dikes, preparing electronic As-Built Drawings, using the Government-furnished software (RMS) for electronic exchange of information and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM), and environmental protection.. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Plans and specifications are available at http://www.fedteds.gov/ on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FEDTEDS) Web Pag e. Compact discs and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check the FEDTEDS webpage often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Issue date on or about 06 April 06. Bid opening date on or about 09 May 06 at 1400 ho urs, local time at place of bid opening. FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS ACQUISITION. NO CONTRACT AWARD WILL BE MADE UNTIL APPROPRIATED FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE.
