- LAKE COUNTY, INDIANA The work of this contract consists of the replacement and sealing of exterior wood decking at the Douglas Center for Environmental Education within Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Gary, Indiana. Work includes but is not limited to: removal and replacement of all wood decking, joists, exterior railing, redwood siding, four benches and supporting ledger board; sand blasting and painting metal surfaces as well as painting the new siding and sealing the new wood benches and deck railing. Plastic lumber decking shall be provided by the park. Additional work may include power wasing and sealing three sets of stairs, a patio area, two short sections of retaining wall, and six bench areas. Magnitude of project: $75,000.00 to $150,000.00.
