- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to solicit and negotiate a follow-on firm fixed price contract with Dynamic Instruments, Inc., 3860 Calle Fortunada, San Diego, CA 92123-1825, for ATABS Computer Indicator Power Supply (CIPS), Part Number (PN) 1576AS110-2 (CAGE 48171); instrument cover modification. This will include all technical documentations to replace the display, disk drive, and batteries inside the CIPS. Dynamic Instruments, Inc. is considered the only responsible source since it is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and it is likely that award to any other source would result in a substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to recover through competition. The ATABS/TABS is a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf single, self-contained, lightweight portable tracking, balancing, and vibration analyzer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
