- CONFERENCE NOTIFICATION: A SITE VISIT AND PRE=PROSAL CONFERENCE IS SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 6, 2006, 9:00 A.M. EASTERN STANDARD TIME, AT NAVAL AIR STATION (NAS), BUILDING 1418 (2ND FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM) WHITING FIELD, FL NAVFAC Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for These support services include all management, supervision, labor, engineering services, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, facilities, and transportation necessary to perform the required services in the following functional areas: labor, management, supervision, materials, supplies, tools and vehicles to perform public works administration, facilities management, facilities investment, facility maintenance services - non-family housing and Navy family housing, pest control, street sweeping, utility plant and distribution operations and maintenance - chiller, electrical, gas, wastewater, steam and water, environmental services, centrally managed safety services, and base support vehicles and equipment, BSVE.. The contract will be a combination firm fixed-price (FFP) and indefinite deliver/indefinite quantity (IDIQ). The contract will be issued for a base year, with four one-year option periods. This procurement will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 561210 with a size standard of $30 Million. The anticipated workload is between 8 and 12 million per year (FFP and IDIQ). The Government intends to make a single award to the acceptable offeror whose total offer on all items is the most advantageous to the Government, considering price and technical factors. Evaluation criteria include such factors as Past Performance, Corporate Experience, Management, Technical Approach/Method, and Price. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency in response to this solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about March 24, 2006. The entire solicitation will be available for viewing and downloading at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Prospective offerors MUST register themselves on the web site. The official plan holders? list will be maintained and can be printed from the web. It is the responsibility of interested parties to independently review this web page frequently for updates to any and all documents. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). This will normally be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. No paper copies of these documents will be issued. Offerors must also be registered in the Contractors Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement.
