- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. NSWC Crane requirement is support of the Special Operations Forces Laser Acquisition Marker requires a 5 year IDIQ contract for a lightweight integrated laser designator and laser rangefinder. The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis using a Statement of Work and a Performance Specification. CLIN 0001 for a minimum quantity of 4 each maximum quantity of 940 each to meet the following guidelines: Weight without batteries to be no more than 12 pounds (laser only), 24-28 volts D.C. power source at a maximum peak current of 3 amps over the missions operational range, must be man-portable and capable of being backpacked with its required cabling and battery pack by a single war-fighter. Stepladder quantities of 5, 25, 50, 100, 300+ will be solicited. A product sample will be required to be submitted with the proposal. CLIN 0002 Provision Item Order, CLIN 0003 Associated Contract Data Requirements. Numbered Note 26 applies. FOB Destination, Inspection at source, UID labeling required. Delivery schedule will be established on individual delivery orders, delivery lead time 30 each within 180 days of effective date of order, to continue at a rate of 60 every 30 days thereafter until complete. The solicitation will be posted on the NSWC Crane website at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/synopcom.htm ; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offerors will be required to submit product samples, technical, past performance, and price proposals. Award will be made on a best value basis. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 21 April 2006. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
