- The FISC Norfolk Contracting Department, Groton Office requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Overhaul of Submarine Separators (Camels aka Fenders) in accordance with the Performance Based Work Statement. Repair and maintenance of six submarine separators. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-06-T-G011. The NAICS code is 488310 - Waterfront Terminal Operation (e.g., docks, piers, wharves) and the Small Business Standard is $21,500,000. This is a total small business competitive action. The government intends to award a single award with the Camels due 16 weeks after date of contract. Questions regarding technical or contractual issues must be addressed to the Contract Specialist via email or fax ONLY. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov and www.acq.osd.mil. Lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The government anticipates release of the RFQ during the week of March 20th or March 27th.
