- INFORMATION: The Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, California, intends to purchase Survivair fire protection breathing apparatus. This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement to L.N. Curtis & Sons, 1800 Peralta Street, Oakland, California. Interested small business concerns may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
