- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to STI-CO Industries, Inc., 11 Cobham Drive, Orchard Park, NY for covert vehicular two-way radio system antennas that are compatible with IRS Criminal Investigation Division?s (CID) existing radio system. IRS CID requires that all antennas used be interchangeable between vehicles with no degradation of performance, and that all antennas allow for communication within IRS CID vehicles and with other agencies. Only the purchase of additional antennas manufactured by SIT-CO can ensure full compatibility with the requirements of the current system. Responsible sources who can provide the above requirements may submit written quotations no later than 15 days from published date of this announcement. No solicitations will be issued, therefore, requests for solicitations will be considered non-responsive. If no responses are received the award will be made to STI-CO Industries.
