- The Transportation Security Administration has a requirement for Explosives Trace Detection (ETD) Screening Stations to be used in conjunction with the ETD units to provide the airport baggage screener with an easily accessible, user-friendly workstation. This workstation shall consist of a cabinet to house and secure the ETD unit along with peripheral items, as well as two screening tables to allow for multiple screeners to examine baggage concurrently. Attached are the procurement specifications for the development of the ETD Screening Station Tables. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit feedback and comment from industry regarding the feasibility of designing and fabricating each element of the ETD Station to the provided specifications as well as to welcome any input that may result in product improvements. Feedback may be submitted as, but is not limited to, descriptive product literature, specific remarks relevant to design elements, or guidance on the project as a whole.
