- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis only and a written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG40-06-R-40025. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 336611. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. Project Title is: 210B Controllable Pitch Propeller Hub Casing Thermal Spray Repairs. NOTE: DETAILED PRECAUTIONS ? 3/8? wide ?L? shaped hub port only. A horizontal seal ring surface is sprayed and precautions must be met to prevent backspray/overspray from contaminating the spray welded area. Previous similar Propeller Hub expererience is required. FOB Destination: U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Attn: Receiving Bldg. 88, Baltimore, MD 21226. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number (TIN) with their offer.
