- This office proposes to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and Subpart 14 (Sealed Bidding). The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 321114 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The acquisition shall be for a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. The work covered in the specifications consists of providing labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary to procure and deliver wood marine piles and wood range kits to various Coast Guard Units located in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and South Carolina. The specified piles and range kits are of various lengths When the Government requires a quantity of less than 10 piles or one range kit, the Government will not be obligated to purchase, nor will the contractor be obligated to furnish these items under the contract. The delivery time is 21 calendar days from the date of the delivery order. The Government guarantees a minimum amount of $10,000.00 under the contract. The total amount of the contract shall not exceed $1.5 million per year. Individual delivery orders cannot exceed $300,000.00. All offerors must hold their prices firm for 60 calendar days from the due date specified for receipt of bids. The solicitation in its entirety and any amendments will be available at no charge online at http://www.fedbizopps.gov under the above solicitation number. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Interested HUBZone small business concerns should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer, in writing, as early as possible but to be received not later than 15 calendar days of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: (a) a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, (b) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts and telephone numbers and (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All information must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside without further notice.
