- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13 (not to exceed $100,000). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotes (RFQ) number is NB8180604028KAR. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires a reconditioned AC 300 MHz Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)System. The NMR system must meet or exceed the following specifications: 1. Windows based data acquisition console 2. Digital Signal Processor-based pulse programming 3. T1/T2 calculations with graphical user interface and export 4. 100 ns resolution, 300 ns minimum pulse width 5. 12-bit 1 MHz spectral width 6. 7 Tesla NMR Magnet (room temperature and superconducting shims) 7. Proton line full-width half height of 5% CHCl3 in d6-acetone: 1 Hz 8. Variable field 0-7 Tesla 9. Wideband NMR probes for 0-300 MHz data acquisition 10. Helium transfer Line 11. Demountable lead set 12. Installation and training included 13. A 30 day warranty 14. 30 day delivery ARO Technical questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer by fax or by email. You may submit your quote by email, fax, or by mail. Quotes must be received on or before close of business March 31, 2006. Please include delivery schedule, business size, and Dun and Bradstreet Number. Vendors must also be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
