Description
The FAA is seeking qualified vendors who manufacture, provide logistics support and engineering services for the Dual Mode High Intensity Approach Lighting System with Sequenced Flashing Lights (ALSF-2/SSALR). Systems must meet all the requirements of Specification FAA-E-2689A Change 5. The systems must have a Remote Monitoring System designed and tested to the requirements of NAS-MD-790. The FAA has requirements to acquire up to eleven ALSF-2 systems. The Vendor must be able to begin delivery within 12 months of contract award at a rate of 2 systems per month. These requirements are not negotiable. Vendors must provide a capability statement and past performance with the FAA. If available, a system specification and a technical instruction manual are required for currently manufactured ALSF-2 systems. Two copies of the requested information must be submitted in electronic media (Adobe Acrobat format preferred) to FAA, ATTN: John Varas, AJW-46 Lighting Systems Group, Room 412, 800 Independence Avenue, SW, Washington, DC 20591.
