- 1. Project Objective: The objective of the AETC Mobile Wireless Broadband Internet Initiative is to verify, capture, and test wireless broadband coverage for all AETC units and the Washington D.C. area in order to provide AETC with enhanced Command and Control (C2) capability. 2. Contract Objectives: To provide (at a minimum) the following: Mobile wireless broadband Internet coverage throughout each of the specified locations Identify specific download speeds available at each location (both in-building and exterior areas) Identify and indicate all coverage associated limitations at each location (both in-building and exterior areas) Identify the expected level of service for each location (both in-building and exterior areas) Provide a plan/timeline for expansion/upgrade of coverage and service to all locations (include what download speeds any upgraded capability will offer) Specified locations are: All AETC Bases: o Altus AFB, OK 73523 o Columbus AFB, MS 39710 o Goodfellow AFB, TX 76908 o Keesler AFB, MS 39534 o Lackland AFB, TX 78236 o Laughlin AFB, TX 78843 o Little Rock AFB, AR 72099 o Luke AFB, AZ 85309 o Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 o Randolph AFB, TX 78150 o Sheppard AFB, TX 76311 o Tyndall AFB, FL 32403 o Vance AFB, OK 73705 All military installations with AETC tenant units o Blue Ash ANG Station, OH 45242 o Springfield-Beckley Municipal Air Port,, OH 45502 o Fairchild AFB, WA 99011 o Vandenburg AFB, CA 93437 o Moody AFB, GA 31699 o Kirtland AFB, NM 87117 o Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433 o Davis Monthan AFB, AZ 85717 o Ft Gordon, GA 30905 o Hurlburt Field, FL 32544 o Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme Site, CA 93043 o Ft Rucker, AL 36362 o Kingsley Field AGS, OR 97603 o NAS Corpus Christi, TX 78404 The Washington D.C. area: o Defined as the Washington D.C metropolitan area 2.1. Testing: Any on-site tests or surveys required to answer this RFI, must be approved and scheduled by AETC/A6XX prior to execution. 2.2. Supporting Documentation: 2.2.1. Pricing: Service and product pricing details must be provided indicating standard and promotional rates (if Government specific pricing is offered, a copy of the contract or pricing agreement must be provided?i.e. GSA Schedule, Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), etc.) 3. Logistics: Delivery of all data necessary to satisfy the requirements (to include requests for on-site tests or surveys and supporting documentation) as specified in this RFI must be provided to the AETC CONS/LGCD Office within 30 business days. 4. Management Objective: The management objective is to allow the offeror the maximum flexibility to prove their ability to provide mobile wireless broadband Internet service to all AETC units and the Washington D.C. area. All data produced will be used to determine the offeror?s capability to satisfy the user?s stated performance requirements Closing Date: 20 Apr 06 Limit to 30 pages only including any maps.
