Description
THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF RFP ISSUANCE. THIS EFFORT IS TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE SOURCES CURRENTLY AVAILABLE IN THE COMMERICAL MARKETPLACE THAT ARE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING COMMUNICATION INFORMATION SUPPORT REQUIRED BY THE AIR FORCE SPACE COMMAND. Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) is presently undertaking a preliminary study to determine if the commercial market is capable of supporting the Communication-Information Support Flight for Patrick AFB, FL. Support includes Wing staff agencies, mission partners, and contractors at Patrick Air Force Base, Cape Canaveral Air Station, and geographically separated units. The Scope of Work will include all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to operate the following functions: Support Administration Section, which includes Administration Support and Material Control: Administrative Systems, which includes Publications Management, Records Management, and Base Information Transfer Center; Information Systems Section, which includes Systems Help Desk, Network Management,and Small and Computer Customer Support; Electronic Maintenance Section,which includes Microwave Digital Radio and Video Maintenance; and Telephone Systems Maintenance Section, which includes Host and Remote Digital Switching System and Cable Maintenance, Survey Office, and Systems Control. All sources capable of providing these services are being sought. In addition to the information provided below entitled ?Capabilities Package?, responding parties must also indicate their size status in relation to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811213. Sources with 8(a) status or otherwise classified as a small disadvantaged business should address their status in their responses. Capabilities Package. All interested companies should submit a package that outlines the company?s capabilities in providing the required services. The package must identify all personnel for the operation and management of the required services. The capabilities package should be brief and concise, yet must clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements. The response must not exceed ten (10) printed pages in Arial, font size 12 and should be submitted in hardcopy format. Supporting information may be separately included in the package.
