- Description
- Solicitation W911S0-06-R-0015 will be issued to procure all services, materials, supplies, plant, supervision, labor and equipment, except that specified as Government furnished, to perform public works and logistics functions at Fort Monroe, VA. C ontractor work and responsibility shall include all planning, programming, administration, management, and execution necessary to provide Public Works and Logistic services. Functional areas include, but are not limited to, Buildings and Structures Maint enance, Family Housing Maintenance, Utility Systems Operation and Maintenance including Wastewater Collection System, Natural Gas Distribution System, and Storm Water Collection System, HVAC Systems Operation and Maintenance, Dining Facility Equipment Main tenance, Grounds Maintenance, Surfaced Area Maintenance, Pest Control, Self-help Services, Materiel Maintenance, Installation Transportation Services and Base Supply Services. The solicitation will be issued as an 8(a) Competitive Set-Aside. Period of p erformance is for a 1-year base period, including a 35-day Phase-In, from date of award with options for four additional years. Last Option Period includes a Phase-out period. Applicable NAICS Code is 561210 with size standard of $30 million. A Site Vi sit will be conducted approximately 10 days after issuance of the Solicitation. Date, time, location and instructions will be included in the Solicitation or by Amendment thereto. Solicitation will be posted in FEDBIZOPPS on or about 19 April 2006, and closing thirty (30) days thereafter. All amendments will be likewise posted on the same website. A bidders list will not be compiled and paper copies of the solicitation and/or amendments will not be mailed.
