As met by synthetic paper machine oil, Chevron Clarity ISO 220 or equivalent. GEAR BOX OIL SPECIFICATIONS The ten (10) 55-gallon drums of gear box oil must meet the following: " Must pass the LC 50 acute aquatic toxicity test. " Must be PAO (polyalphaolefin) synthetic base oil. " Must be ashless. " Must contain an antirust additive. " Must be inherently biodegradable. " Must provide thermal and oxidation stability. ASTM D 943 greater than10,000 hours. " ISO viscosity index must be 160 or greater. " Must pass the Pall Filterability Test, demulsibilty (water separating ability) and wet filterability of greater than 10,000 (mL to 25 psi). " Must meet Timken OK Load, 65 lb or greater. " AGMA Grade 5 EP. " Minimum flash point of 450 degrees F. " Minimum pour point to be lower than -45 degrees F. " Must have the ability to be mixed with mineral oil products for recycling or easy disposal. " Must provide foam inhibition for the prevention of pump cavitation and surface foam. SHEDULE Once award has been made, oil is to be stored with vendor until delivery is requested (request will be for the total amount). Delivery is to be made to Dworshak Dam in Ahsahka, ID within 48 hours of request. Contractor shall make prior arrangements with Government Personnel at the site to deliver and unload the oil. Normal working hours at Dworshak Dam is 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The delivery shall be made to the Powerhouse. The delivery address is as follows: Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR and DFARS clauses and provision s shall apply to this acquisition: 52.252-2, 52.211-6, 52.204-7, 52.232-33, 252.225-7000, 252.204-7004 Alternate A, 252.243-7001, 52.204-3, 52.219-1, 213-4. The Far Clause 52.214-21 Descriptive Literature shall apply to this acquisition: 52.222-3, 52.222-1 9, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.219-6.
