- Anticipated Issue Date 30 MAR 2006 - Anticipated Closing Date 17 MAY 2006 - Time 2:00 EST This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. NSWC Crane requirement is for a 5 year IDIQ contract for infrared electro-optical imaging system Enhanced Targeting Sights (ETS). The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis using a Statement of Work and a Performance Specification. CLIN 0001 for a minimum quantity of 4 each, maximum quantity of 420 each ETS units. It is anticipated that stepladder quantities of 4, 25, 50, 100, 300+ will be solicited. A product sample will be required to be submitted with the proposal. CLIN 0002 Provision Item Order, NTE $8.7M, CLIN 0003 Associated Contract Data Requirements, CLIN 0004 Pricing for Depot training. Potential optional CLINS for Logistic documentation may be required. FOB Destination, Inspection at source, UID labeling required. Delivery schedule will be established on individual delivery orders, delivery lead time is up to 20 each within 210 days of effective date of order, to continue at a rate of 20 every 30 days thereafter until complete. The solicitation will be posted on the NSWC Crane website at www.crane.navy.mil; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offerors will be required to submit product samples, technical, past performance, and price proposals. Award will be made on a best value basis. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 30 March 2006. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
