Description: The work consists of dredging approximately 500,000 cubic yards of maintenance material from both a deep draft and a shallow draft channel. No levee work. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. The North Am erican Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $17 million. The Galveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 41.3%; Small Disadvantaged Business - 15.8%; Wom an-Owned Small Business - 5.6%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 1.0%; Hubzone Small Business - 7.5%. Bid Opening will be held in Room 175. The plans and specifications will only be available via our website, on the issue date. It is the con tractor's responsibility to register on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation, at: www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. Howeve r, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
