Description

The following competencies should be addressed within any capability statement submitted for consideration. Ability to track renovation projects and keep them on schedule. Ability to review architectural design drawings. Ability to assist in the preparation of NIH paperwork for construction change orders. Ability to provide interface between NIH researchers, Project Officer and the DIR administrative officers. Ability to provide site inspections assuring quality and work compliance to design specification. Ability to assist with the preparation of government cost estimates in addition to reviewing contractor-cost proposals. Ability to provide the Government?s Project Officer of potential claims or field conditions requiring changes or potential delays. Ability to represent NHLBI for acceptance of work during a final walk through of all design/construction modification. This ability represents a ?talk and walk? procedure where deficiencies are recorded for completion before occupancy of the modified space. Ability to monitor ?talk and walk? action items and to document completion of each. Ability to resolve administrative issues and problems. Ability to coordinate the moving out of and back onto newly renovated spaces. The response due date remains unchanged and should be received by March 27, 2006.
