- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peters VA Medical Center, Bronx NY intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with US Veterans Initiative, 733 S. Hindry, Inglewood, CA 90301 to provide services to homeless Veterans covering New York and New Jersey. Services are needed for at least 115 homeless Veterans per month during a contract year. Contractor is required to regularly visit places where homeless Veterans congregate, identify their immediate needs, and refer them to services. At least 400 (40%) of the Veterans assisted will come off the street and enter the program. Approximately, 650 (65%) will remain stable or move to their next level of independence. Other services include outreach, assessment and intake, housing assistance, transportation, CWT, employment assistance. This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302. Businesses who feel they may be capable of providing these services shall submit all applicable information to the James J. Peters Medical Center, Bronx VA by Thursday March 30, 2006 @ 3:00pm. The information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
