- Description
- The VA Healthcare Network Upstate New York at Syracuse, a division of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has a need for specialized medical resources to be furnished by the Contractor. The specialized medical resources required are mammography services which include which include breast imaging, breast sonography, pre-biopsy needle localization of non-palpable lesions, guided fine?needle aspiration biopsies and aspiration of non-palpable cysts to eligible beneficiaries. The contractor will be responsible to furnish medical facilities, clinical providers, equipment supplies and administrative functions to fulfill the level of care specified in the RFP. Service will be at an all-inclusive rate. It is the intent of the VA to award a one (1) year contract with four (4) one-year options. This is commercial item acquisition and will be conducted in accordance with policies and procedures of FAR Part 12. The NAIC Code is 621512 and is unrestricted. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about April 3, 2006 and offers will be due as specified in the solicitation, anticipated to be on or about April 28, 2006 for services to begin approximately June 1, 2006.
