Description

Evaluate, test, and perform repair services for Laser Fan Module Assemblies, NSN 1430-01-308-0962. These assemblies are used in Laser Range Finders which are part of the Avenger Fire Unit on the Avenger Missile System. This requirement is for the r epair of 50 each in the base year and an additional 50 in each of the four option periods. Elcan Optical Technologies, 1601 N. Plano Rd. Richardson, TX 75081 is the original equipment manufacturer and sole supplier of these items. They are they only comp any that possesses the technical data neccessary to perform repair services to these items. The Government does not have rights to use the data for a competitive acquisition. It is suggested that small business firms or others interesting in subcontractin g opportunities in connection with this procurement make contact with the firm listed.
