- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Non-Secure Juvenile Community Corrections Center based services for male Federal offenders in the Tucson, Arizona area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, “Contract Non-Secure Juvenile Facility amended February 2004.” This is a firm-fixed unit price requirement type contract. The services are estimated to be 100% male. The estimated number of inmate days is 7,300 for the two-year base period; 3,660 for option year one; and 3,650 for option years two and three; respectively. The solicitation will be available on or about January 18, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP 200-0849-WR will be on or about March 21, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
