Description

It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine to negotiate on a sole source basis with Oneida Communications Inc, 5400 Dower House Road, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772 for software database development services under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302 for existing software product development. Vendors may identify in writing their interest in responding to this requirement along with their capabilities or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received no later than the closing date of this announcement will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed acquisition, based on the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. ALL REASONABLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTATION WHICH, IF RECEIVED TIMELY, SHALL BE CONSIDERED BY THE AGENCY.
