Description

The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) Audie L. Murphy Division has a requirement for coronary stents and balloons. The Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, San Antonio, TX, proposes to award a sole source consignment contract with Boston Scientific. Contract will be for base year and two one-year options for renewal. Boston Scientific is to provide the following types of coronary implants in various sizes: Taxus Express Paclitaxel Drug Eluting Stents, Bare Metal Stents and PTCA Balloons. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.501(a)(2)(I), test program, using simplified acquisition procedures. Interested persons may identify interest and ability to respond to this requirement. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m., CST, April 5, 2006.
