- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A more detailed solicitation is available at Federal Technical Data Solutions (FEDTEDS) Web Page at http://www.fedteds.gov/. Solicitation Number W912EE-06-T-0021 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) with the intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Ci rcular 2005-08 Correction. THIS PROCUREMENT IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE AND ISSUED UNDER NAICS CODE 212399 (SIC 1499) WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF 500 EMPLOYEES FOR A FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT. This procurement may be quoted as follows: Line Item 0001 Su pplies/Services: Furnish and Deliver Airfield Matting Kits in accordance with attached scope of work. Quantity: 1, Unit: Lump Sum, Unit Price: $?____________; Line Item 0002 Supplies/Services: Shipping. Quantity: 1, Unit: Lump Sum, Unit Price: $?_________ ___; Total Amount: $ __________. Award shall be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be the lowest price. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has a requirement for purc hase and delivery of Airfield Matting Kits. The scope of work for this maintenance contract includes: 2 Standard FRP w/ Modified Bushing Kits: Two of the kits will be the traditional FRP kits but these kits will utilize the USAF connection pin sets and anchor bolt bushings used with the FFM system. The mats will be manufactured according to specs., with the main, right and left panels. The conn ection holes should be modified in size as indicated on the New FRP (2 Panel) Mat drawings. The New FRP (2 Panel) Bushing drawings give the details on the bushing size and dimensions for use with the FRP. The mat materials remain the same and the attachm ent of the FFM connection pin bottom pieces to the underlap edges will require the use of epoxy and rivets as is used for the FFM. Each Kit should include: 7 Large Panels; 3 Right Panels; 3 Left Panels; 50 Anchor Bolt Bushings (Minimum); 140 Connection Pin Bottom Pieces (Minimum); 140 Connection Pin Top Pieces (Minimum). 1 Modified ACE Mat Kit: One kit will consist of ACE mat (5-Ply ) utilizing the USAF FFM connection pin sets and anchor bolt bushings. The New ACE Mat ADR drawings (attached) show the new whole dimensions. All the other mat specs, including materials, remain the same. The New ACE ADR Bushing drawings give the size a nd dimension details of the USAF bushing for use with ACE mat. Each Kit should include: 36 ACE Mat Panels; 8 ACE Mat Anchor Panels; 50 Anchor Bolt Bushings (Minimum); 216 Connection Pin Bottom Pieces (Minimum); 216 Connection Pin Top Pieces (Minimum); 1 M odified FRP (2-Panel) Kit: One kit will consist of traditionally constructed FRP mat, but will be built in a 2-panel arrangement. This kit will use a traditional full panel with a modified half panel that will be capable of connection to any side of the full panel. The kit will al so utilize half and whole anchor panel, to allow the transition from an underlap, connection pin bottom piece strip, to a plain, anchor bolt bushing strip. These details are all shown on the New FRP (2 Panel) Mat drawings. The New FRP (2-Panel) Bushing d rawings give the details on the corresponding pin connections and anchor bolt bushings. Each Kit should include: 7 Full Panels; 6 Half panels; 2 Full Anchor Panels; 2 Half Anchor Panels; 50 Anchor Bolt Bushings (Minimum); 152 Connection Pin Bottom Pieces ( Minimum); 152 Connection Pin Top Pieces (Minimum). Additional Specifications regarding this RFQ are as follows: Specification for ACE-Mat Expedient Road and Airfield Surfacing and Modification of air Transportable Airfield Damage Repair Kit.
